"tea is just leaf water!" "yeah well coffee is just bean water!" wow, it’s. it’s like everything is made of things. this door is just wood rectangle. this poster is just ink paper. this lemonade is just lemon water. wow, it’s like you can combine ingredients to make things that are more enjoyable than the initial parts of the equation. sure is a magical world we live in

So last night I think I pretty much finished a Living Pokedex in Pokebank, broken apart by generation.

I know Diancie is missing, due to current rarity.

Unbroken for tumblr can be found here.

I’m trying to become a little more active on the Spiral Knights forums and I may or may not regret this decision

These are the people who think the fire sword is the best sword to bring into the fire citadel, where everything is already on fire, instead of bringing the ice sword

Congratulations, you’ve been chosen for my next excuse to type about SK mechanics and how they’re kind of weird.

Despite what standard video game logic might tell you the base (same heat level, no uvs, same gear bonuses) Glacius won’t deal any more damage then it’s fiery cousin the Combuster assuming they get the same exact hits in on a fire zombie.

Why is that, well they both deal the same damage type, combined normal and elemental (which zombies are weak to), and the status they have attached to their charge attack does not stop that in any way.

Here’s where those status can mess things up however, both of the above swords have a charge attack that when used causes a line of (up to) 5 explosions that cause some knockback.  When used properly an enemy can be hit into the 2nd explosion from the 1st one and from the 2nd one to the 3rd and so on until something stops them or the last explosion happens.

Unfortunately one of the things that can stop them is being frozen which the Glacius has a chance of doing in it’s charge attack, being lit on fire does not change knockback.

The other sword line capable of freezing enemies, the Triglav line, isn’t the best idea to bring into a place filled with zombies due to the fact that it only deals normal damage (also it’s a pain to get the recipes for that line).

tl;dr the Glacius can do the same damage but has a random chance to drop hits in it’s charge attack making it do less.

I definitely understand where people are coming from with choosing Combuster, but I find being able to freeze slags in place much more handy than maybe dealing more damage with a charge attack, especially considering I deal plenty of damage already with Undead Ultra. One thing that does confuse me, however, is how little I see people using Voltedge…

Having used a Hail driver for a similar benefit I can see that angle but I’d normally recommend a vortex bomb for charge attack based crowd control (granted I might be very biased towards them now, due to having a CTR:Max EleVortex nowadays)

My guess for Voltedge is a combination of it being a pain to get due to it’s recipes requiring krogmo coins and the charge attack DPS thing scaring people away from it.

this is the shittiest post ever. please unfollow me if you agree with this post also shame on OP for using cute kittens for this garbage post

not sure what it is exactly that makes this post so shitty? Because it’s promoting actual equality? instead of saying that you can call everyone else shit because you are part of an oppressed party you can say you are equal to them doesn’t exactly sound like a shitty idea to me.

BOOM. So many people on this website need to read this twice, let it sink in and then read it again.

You know what’s sad, that moo jelly person even tagged it “die please”

Glad to know we have people on this site that lack basic mental function to use common sense and logic
